Music theory has aroused my interest because it is a language in which logic and beauty are hidden. The horizontal and vertical thinking that is involved in weaving and music theory are two languages that have similarities and can be superimposed on each other. I translate the rhythms, connections and patterns that I discover in the 12 minor and major scales into new images in this work. The distance and image of warp and weft are determined by assigning fixed values and colors to the notes. In music every tone has its own sound, in this work I make them visible.
